JIMMY FOX--A FEW BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS
My hometown is Alexandria, Louisiana, a dynamic city on the Red River in the center of the state (population about 47,000). Louisiana's many distinct cultures have left their marks here; some have managed to thrive into modern times.
I've been writing, in one way or another, all of my adult life. When I became fascinated by genealogy, I knew I was onto something that could be the stuff of great mystery fiction. I continue to study extensively in the field of family history, both in a personal quest to trace my roots and in an effort to enhance the authenticity of my mysteries. I'm a member of the Mystery Writers of America, Florida chapter.
Genealogy by its very nature is detective work, and my sleuth, Nick Herald, will have no shortage of cases to keep him busy for many years to come.
